At the end of 2011 Noetic donated a number of laptops that were reconditioned by our ICT supplier, BlueBlood Solutions, to an NGO in Timor Leste led by Tricia Johns. We are really pleased to see that these have been making a difference for a range of people in Timor.

Peter Murphy, CEO of Noetic Solutions, has been invited to speak at the 3rd Annual National Juvenile Justice Summit from 26-27 Mar 2012 at the Rendezvous Hotel Melbourne. Peter will be speaking on 27 Mar at 9:40am, on the topic ‘Getting it Right – Whole of Government and Community Collaboration’.

The NSW Attorney General and Minister for Justice, Greg Smith, addressed a juvenile justice public forum that was chaired by UnitingCare Children in Sydney on Tuesday 1 November. The forum explored the overrepresentation of vulnerable groups in the juvenile justice system and promoted the need to support communities through early intervention and prevention programs.

Noetic Consultant Paula Hanasz has recently published three national security related journal articles, 1. a commentary on the Afghanistan Peace and Reintegration Program in the peer-reviewed journal, Security Challenges, 2. an article on the geopolitics of oil supply and demand in the aftermath of the ‘Arab Spring’ and 3. a strategic analysis paper on Afghanistan’s food and water security challenges.
