Noetic was proud to sponsor the first Australian Army Washington Symposium, held in Washington, DC on 16 November.  Brigadier Rod West hosted the event and brought together a number of high quality speakers including Dr. David Kilcullen, Major General Paul Symon, Brigadier Mal Rerden, Colonel Roger Noble, Dr. Alan Gropman and Commander Shane Connelly from the Australian Federal Police.  The Symposium articulated the Australian Army's approach to current and emerging challenges for an audience of senior representatives from the Office of the Secretary of Defense, various Services and Combatant Commands.

 The Symposium was a great success and showcased Australia's innovative approaches to an increasingly challenging security environment. The Symposium also afforded both Australian and American participants the opportunity to reflect on the nature and importance of the Australian-U.S. alliance and consider how to maintain and strengthen collaboration between the two nations.
