Noetic Solutions will assist the Department of Resources Energy and Tourism by facilitating a workshop for the Asia Pacific Economic Cooperation’s (APEC) Energy Working Group (EWG). APEC Economies recently completed a survey of Climate Change Policies and Other Approaches to Reducing Greenhouse Gas Emissions. Noetic will develop a discussion paper collating the findings of the surveys, outlining trends for mitigating Greenhouse Gas emissions in non-APEC economies and providing advice on developing practical options for APEC Economies to consider during the workshop. The Paper will be discussed at the 9th Meeting of APEC EWG in Tokyo, Japan on the 9 March 2010. The outcomes of the workshop will then be presented to the APEC Energy Ministers meeting in June.
