Military Utility Assessment

Washington, DC, 22-28 August 2008

Provide ongoing support to Project Wolf Pack, Wolf Pack is an initiative by the Emerging Capabilities Division within the Office of the Secretary of Defense which rapidly integrates leading edge but mature technology to benefit troops at the small unit level to provide an advantage in the conduct of distributed/dispersed operations in complex terrain.

Noetic Group orchestrated a military utility assessment at the Marine Corps Air Ground Combat Center at Twentynine Palms, CA. Bringing together a section of Australian soldiers from the First Battalion Royal Australian Regiment to participate in an integrated, coalition missions at the tactical level with a United States Marine Corps platoon. The assessment saw great successes in proving the value associated with the Wolf Pack capability especially from the perspectives of increased situational awareness, improved command, control and graduated responses for escalation of force. The assessment was instrumental in promoting the capability for a major coalition partner.
