Additional Work with the United States Marine Corps Combat Development Command

Noetic has been awarded a further contract with the United States Marine Corps Combat Development Command. This follows the successful completion of an initial project focused on supporting, providing capacity building and red teaming for Marine Corps concept developers. This new project expands this role for a new series of concept development.

Support to Asia Pacific Civil-Military Centre Of Excellence Desktop Stabilisation Exercise

In follow-on to Noetic’s recently completed work building a conflict prevention model for APCMCOE, Washington D.C. and Canberra-based staff are again collaborating on a project. The Centre is hosting a multiagency desktop stabilisation exercise at the end of October in Queanbeyan, near the Australian Capital Territory. Noetic is contributing pre-conference analysis of select international planning and assessment tools in multiagency strategic planning for peace and stabilisation operations.

Noetic visits U.S. Combatant Commands

As a part of its work for the Office of the Secretary of Defense (OSD), Noetic has recently completed a series of visits to the U.S. Geographic Combatant Commands (COCOM) in order to meet staff involved in the development of theater campaign plans (TCP). The visits involved a thorough series of interviews to gain perspectives from across the headquarters to determine current processes, approaches and methodologies used at each COCOM.

Asia Pacific Civil- Military Centre Of Excellence Conflict Prevention Workshop

The workshop supported a project to develop a multiagency assessment and planning model (or framework) for conflict prevention and management for the Australian Government’s Asia-Pacific Civil-Military Centre of Excellence (APCMCOE), and built upon preliminary conclusions drawn from a May 23rd Concept Development Workshop held at the National Defense University. The Concept Validation Workshop, held Friday June 10th at the Australian Embassy in Washington, D.C. under the Chatham House Rule, included candid discussions among Australian, British, and U.S. Government and non-government personnel.

Noetic Group Awarded 2011 ACT Chief Minister’s Export Awards - Small to Medium Business Category

The Noetic Group was honoured to receive the 2011 ACT Chief Minister’s Export Award in the Small to Medium Services category. The Export Awards ceremony was held in the Canberra Hyatt on 29 September. Noetic Group Principals Andrew Balmaks and Peter Murphy accepted the award on behalf of the fast-growing company.
